Leaks suggest that the launch of the next-gen Apple Watch is likely around the corner alongside iPhone 13 in the coming weeks. Also, it may get a redesign with a flatter display and edges. This article will take you through the specs and launch date of Apple Watch Series 7.

The upcoming Apple Watch is also supposed to get a smaller S7 chipset that leaves more space for a bigger battery. So users can expect better battery life on these watches.

As suggested by multiple leaks, the smartwatch may get some design changes. This includes flatter edges, a flatter display and minimal bezels. According to some tipsters upcoming smartwatch will be offered in larger 41mm and 45mm sizes.  The current models come in 40mm and 40mm sizes, hence it will be a welcome change if its true.

The upcoming smartwatch may get a new advanced sensor from Rockley Photonics. This sensor named “Clinic on Wrist” would enable plenty of tracking biomarkers like core body temperature, blood pressure, body hydration, alcohol, lactate, and glucose trends, and more.

Some images of the smartwatch on Twitter showcased the smartwatch replicas in Space Gray, Silver, and Space Black colour options. However, these clones didn’t look as refined as the actual product

There are rumours about the inclusion of a micro-LED display. This rumour is backed by a report from Macrumors that says Apple could be working with a Taiwanese manufacturer to bring new panels to the Watch in 2021. Apart from this, the watch may also feature a Touch-ID based fingerprint scanner.
